Welcome and Scientific Scope

JEEP2026 – 47th Congress on Phase Equilibria (Journées d’Étude des Équilibres entre Phases) will be held from 30 September to 2 October 2026 at the Department of Chemistry, University of Coimbra, Portugal. 

Bringing together researchers from academia and industry, JEEP2026 will provide a stimulating forum for scientific exchange, encompassing experimental, theoretical, computational, and data-driven approaches to thermodynamics, phase equilibria and related phenomena. The scientific program welcomes contributions on equilibrium phenomena in molecular, ionic, inorganic, metallic, and soft-matter systems, including ionic liquids, deep eutectic solvents, polymorphism, functional materials, alloys, molten salts, and their applications in chemical processes, metallurgy, materials science, pharmaceuticals, energy, and environmental technologies.

We warmly encourage the participation of young researchers and students and expect that this meeting will offer valuable opportunities for scientific exchange, strengthen collaborations, and expand networking within our community.
